We're all just walking each other home.

Hi, I'm David.

I wish I had a catchy and dramatic origin story for why I started OutroSpace. The truth is, I don't. I grew up in Austria and spent my early twenties studying business and chasing career goals. Death wasn't on my radar, and I was busy becoming somebody. Over time, through reading, psychedelic experiences, and the right people showing up at the right time, that started to change. I can't pinpoint exactly when or why, but it did. Now I'm studying psychology, teaching meditation, and training to become a therapist. Somewhere along the way, death became the topic I kept coming back to, and OutroSpace is where all of that landed. A space to explore death with an open mind and a sense of wonder, without the heaviness that usually comes with it. And maybe also a selfish attempt to make peace with my own mortality.

Here's what I believe about death.

  1. Death is not the end.
I won't pretend to know what exactly comes next, but I'm convinced there's something.
  2. You don't die.
You just drop your body. Your soul, your consciousness, the essence of your being, lives on.
  3. I believe in reincarnation.
If your soul still has karma to work through, you get reborn and come back for another round.
  4. Death is beyond religion.
It doesn't matter if you're Christian, Hindu, Jewish, or you don't believe in anything at all. Death is for everyone.
  5. Dying isn't scary.
It can be a genuinely beautiful, spiritual, and blissful experience. In a weird way, I'm looking forward to it.
